Our next flash fiction contest will open for entries on June 6th, 2016. The theme won’t be announced until opening day, but read on for clues and information about our fabulous prizes. If Ca$h money doesn’t get you gettin’ creative, I don’t know what will.
Here’s your first (and only) theme clue: This flash fiction contest is sponsored by The Joy of Argument by Albert Navarra (Boyle & Dalton, 2015). In an age of cringe-worthy televised debates and the wild west of social media comment sections, this book is a compact guide to intelligent discourse. Whether you use argument in your professional life, or you simply want to make your opinions heard in everyday conversation, The Joy of Argument can help.
Buying this book will not be a requirement for entering the contest, but you’d be wise to hone your argument skills prior to June 6th. (Hint, hint. Nudge, nudge.)
Two winners will be selected from the pool of submissions. One winner will be chosen by the public via popular vote and awarded a prize of $100.00. The sooner you submit your story after the contest opens, the sooner you can begin collecting votes, so be ready to roll on June 6th!
The second winner will be selected by a panel of CCC judges, and will be also be awarded $100.00.
As with all of our contests, every winner takes home bragging rights, which they are strongly encouraged to lord over everyone they know.
We’ll announce more details as the contest draws near, but for now, get your brain wheels turning! Questions? Contact us here.
