For the Road Official Submission Guidelines

For the RoadFor the Road anthology submissions are now closed.

The anthology will feature 12-20 exceptional short stories, and be released in the fall of 2014. The book will be sold at local retailers, bookstores and on all print and digital online markets.

The theme is “Modern American Highways.” Your story must in some way relate to the theme of the highway in America. We hold this theme with a loose hand, so vaguely or metaphorically related stories will be considered.

It is free to submit your work. If your work is selected for publication, you will be paid. We are looking for fiction and narrative (creative) non-fiction between 1,000 and 10,000 words.

This is NOT a contest. It is an open call for short story submissions for consideration. All submissions will be fairly considered, and those deemed most appropriate for the anthology will be published.

Columbus Creative Cooperative has been professionally producing anthologies since 2011. For more information about the type and quality of books we produce, please browse our published work.
