January Writing Workshop - Submissions Are Open

Greetings Ohio Writers,

Submissions are open for the January 4 writing workshop. Note: this will be an online-only workshop, hosted over Zoom.

Submission Deadline: by end-of-day Monday, December 24

Workshop Date: January 4, 2024, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Location: Online via Zoom

Please send submissions in PDF form to workshops@ohiowriters.org. You may submit a short story, novel excerpt, essay, poetry, or anything else you'd like feedback on. Please limit your submissions to 7,000 words, and include a word count at the top of the document.

We will accept the first 7 submissions. You must be present online to receive feedback, so only submit if you're confident you can attend. You can find the submissions, once we post them, on our website under Workshops > File Share.

If you don’t have a piece but would like to attend, please email us at workshops@ohiowriters.org or RSVP online to let us know. We will make the materials available at least a week prior to the workshop, and will email the Zoom link on the day of the workshop to those who submit/RSVP.

Thanks!

This is great feedback and worthy of consideration. We apologize for how it's been experienced in the past and we will work harder at making sure everyone has equal amount of time.
